From PikeTec to Synopsys
Since August 2023, PikeTec is part of Synopsys Inc. However, what remains the same is our specialization in testing and verifying embedded software and our passion for enhancing the efficiency of the development lifecycle; enabled by our self developed testing tool TPT.
Where we come from
PikeTec was founded in 2007 in Berlin (Germany) by Andreas Krämer, Dr. Jens Lüdemann, and Dr. Eckard Bringmann to contribute in the field of test tools with new ideas and better solutions. The founders have known each other from the research department of the Daimler AG, where they worked as software developers together in the sector of software technology and tool development for technical control and regulation systems for about 10 years.
By the way: The name is a compound of the English words “pike”, meaning the fish (esox lucius), and “technology”. The extremely fast and flexible freshwater fish lent his name to the company since our product, the test tool TPT, is as fast and flexible as the mentioned water dweller.

With our team we formed an incomparable conglomerate of expertise and in-depth knowledge in software development and software testing for the automotive industry and embedded systems.
